Sara and Laura were two adorable little pigs, but with a problem: they hated being clean. That morning, their new pink outfits shone so much that even the sun looked at them with envy. But they felt uncomfortable, stiff, as if the cleanliness was robbing them of their essence.

“I don’t know about you, but this isn’t me,” said Sara, wagging her tail in annoyance.
“Nor me,” replied Laura. “I need a little… fun.”

That word was enough for the two of them to run out into the garden. The first puddle was waiting for them like an old friend. Without thinking, they jumped in forcefully, splashing everything around them. They laughed like crazy, spun around, pushed each other, leaving footprints everywhere.

The mud crept up their legs, covered their outfits, tangled in their hair. But it didn’t matter: they were alive, free, happy. “Now I recognize myself,” Sara shouted between peals of laughter. Laura responded by throwing a good squirt of mud right in her face.

And there they stood, panting and laughing, the sun drying their mess. They looked at each other, covered in mud, but with smiles of victory.

Because being a clean pig is good… but being a free pig is even better.
