Sara was all ready to head to the gym in Colombia: leggings on. But just as she closed her apartment door, a ferocious cramp shot through her stomach. She spun around, opened the door as best she could, and ran straight to the bathroom. She barely managed to sit down before everything “exploded.” The pain was terrible, like her stomach was screaming in protest.
